In August of 1979, I just shot my friends like Bill Billing at the Del Mar Skate Ranch, where we worked together. I practiced my photography on him and other locals every chance I got. We all start at the bottom, no one starts at the top, we all have similar beginnings. Camera: Minolta SRT201, Minolta Rokkor 50mm lens and Kodachrome 64 film and wide open aperture.
